Obituary

Mariantonia Baldino (Nee Dionisio) 1942-2026

Some people leave behind memories. Others leave behind a love so deep, that it becomes a part of everyone they touched. She was one of those people.

Above all else, she was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a grandmother whose heart belonged to her family. Of all the roles she held throughout her life, none meant more to her than being a mother and grandmother. Her family was her whole world.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Dominick, and her loving children, Ralph, Anthony (Chris), Lisina, Rebecca (Doug), and Gilceli (Mickey). She is reunited in heaven with her beloved child, Tuan, who preceded her in death. A mother’s love never ends, not even when two hearts are separated by heaven and earth.

She was also the proud and loving grandmother of 11 cherished grandchildren: Dominick, Maria, Ava, Ralph, Tori, Angela, Douglas, Rudy, Luciana, Scarlett, and Lizzie. Each held a special and irreplaceable place in her heart. She treasured every opportunity to watch them grow, to share in their happiness, to celebrate their accomplishments, and to simply be part of their lives. To her, being a grandmother was one of life’s greatest blessings. Her grandchildren were not just a part of her life; they were a part of her heart.

Her love was the kind that made a family feel whole. It was found in the little things, in the moments that may have seemed ordinary at the time but will now be treasured forever.

She will be missed beyond measure, loved beyond words, and remembered for all the tomorrows yet to come.

A celebration of Mariantonia’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Wednesday, October 21, 2026 from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  The Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, October 22, 2026, 9:30 AM at Church of the Assumption, 29 Jefferson Avenue, Emerson.  Interment Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Marian’s loving memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
