Kathryn McLaughlin (née Lorden), 92, of Norwood, NJ passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026.  Predeceased by her husband William McLaughlin (2002) and her son Robert McLaughlin (2004).  Kathryn is survived by her sons; William McLaughlin and his wife Diana, and Jake McLaughlin and his wife Maureen, daughter-in-law, Susan McLaughlin, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Kathryn was born in the Bronx, NY to Mary (née Sullivan) and Robert Lorden.  She devoted her life to raising and caring for her family, and will be dearly missed by the lives she touched.

A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday, 11:00 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church, 120 Monroe Avenue, Cresskill.  Kathryn will be laid to rest with her husband at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 10 Serpentine Road, Tenafly.
