Deborah A. Kral (née Paseler), 70, of Hillsdale, passed away on August 29, 2026. Beloved wife of John Kral. Loving mother of John Kral, Kiera Wager and her husband Scott, and Kirsten Leister and her husband Bryan. Cherished grandmother of Jordan, Zeva, Lexi, Scotty, and Ainsley. Dear sister of Gayle Benedetto. Deborah was born in Jersey City to Doris (née McCall) and George Paseler. She was an employee of Trader Joe’s, and self- employed prior to that. She was a talented self-taught artist who worked many years painting and decorating projects for homes and businesses. Debbie loved to travel, explore new restaurants with her husband, and spend time with her kids and grandkids. She will be remembered for her incredible artwork and her skills in music. Debbie was an incredibly strong personality, and her faith and persistence is what got her through the challenges of her fight with cancer. Debbie was an employee of Trader Joe’s and well loved by her fellow employees and store patrons. She had a unique laugh that touched so many people everywhere she went. Debbie will be terribly missed by all of her family and friends. She passed away peacefully at home with her cherished family.

A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday September 8, 2026, at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Andrew, 120 Washington Avenue, Westwood, NJ.
