Purificacion Cabunoc Tugade, 93, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She lived a long and meaningful life filled with love, strength, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

In her younger years, Purificacion served as a dedicated physician in the Philippines, offering care, comfort, and compassion to countless patients. Her gentle spirit and commitment to helping others left a lasting impact on the many lives she touched.

Above all, Mamang was a devoted mother whose greatest joy was her family. She will be deeply missed by her children Leslie, Lani and Gigi, Rowena and Benjie, and Boyet and Kym; her grandchildren Allison, Anton, Addie, and Andrea; her sisters; and her extended family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Visitation Wednesday, August 12, 2026, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, August 13, 2026, 9:45 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church.  Interment at Forest Green Park Cemetery, Morganville, NJ.
