Obituary

Kenneth William Wentzler, 76, of Red Bank, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Virginia “Ginny” Wentzler, and their three loving daughters, Amanda (James) Shoenfelt, Kimberly (Jason) Moritz, and Christine (Michael) Scopelliti. He is also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren, E.J., Jack, Grace, Charleigh, Matthew, Ryan, and Samantha. He is predeceased by his dear brother, Edward. Kenneth will be truly missed by his family and friends, many of whom he has had for his entire life.

Kenneth was born on July 15, 1948 to Jane (née Hughes) and Edward Wentzler in Bronx, NY. He proudly served the United States Army before his long and successful career at Frontier Adjusters as an Owner/Operator.

For those who knew Kenny, they knew he was larger than life and made a lasting impact on everyone he met.   He was never short on jokes with an uncanny ability to find humor in every situation.   Kenny loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He enjoyed fishing, boating and golfing.  But there is nothing he loved more than his family.   Together for 55 years, Ginny was the love of his life, and their love story is one for the ages.  The greatest father to his three girls and he reveled in his role as “Pop.”   No one could make Kenny smile like his grandchildren, and he never let a moment go by without making sure they knew he loved them “to the moon and back.”   His amazing legacy will live on in his children and grandchildren – he simply was the best.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th, 12:30 PM at Old North Reformed Church, 120 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628.

Kenneth will be laid to rest at Garden of Memories in Township of Washington, NJ.
