Obituary

David Zorzopian, 78, of Norwood, NJ formerly of River Edge, NJ passed away peacefully on June, 17, 2024.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Dorothy Zorzopian (Armen), his nieces Carolyn Zorzopian (Keith), Cathy Centro (Howard), Corrin Burns (Kevin) and his nephew Armen Zorzopian. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, Alex and Emily Centro, and Hailey and Aiden Burns. 

David was born on June 29, 1945 in New York City to Rose (nee Aslanian) and Charles Zorzopian. After graduating from Cliffside Park High School in 1963 he proudly served the United States Army during Vietnam. Following his discharge, he was employed as a bookkeeper. He then went on to work at Ridgewood Florist in Ridgewood, NJ for his brother Armen. He then went on to work as a bookkeeper at Summit Bank in Hackensack, NJ. Prior to retiring he worked as a bookkeeper in Ridgefield, NJ. 

David loved to read, cross stitch and make keepsake needle point projects for his family and friends. He enjoyed going on vacation and traveling. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and visiting his oldest and dearest friends in Iowa, The Vaughns. 

He is predeceased by his father Charles, mother Rose and brother Armen. 

Burial will be held on Saturday, June 22nd, 1:00 PM at George Washington Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ. Arrangements: Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, Dumont.
