John E. Fleming, 89, of Dumont, NJ, died peacefully on March 31, 2024. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 55 years, Joan A. Fleming (2016). Devoted father of Jo-Ann (Wayne) Stasiowski, Diane (Mark) Ericksen, and Cathy (the late James) Younan. Loving grandfather of Alexis and Kyle Ericksen, Allissa, Jake, Julia and Carly Younan, and great-grandfather of Bryce, Collin and Alivia. Dear brother of Vera Gatins. Predeceased by a sister, Eileen De Felice.
John was born in New York City to Eileen and James Fleming. He was a proud Navy veteran, and served as general manager of several New York City restaurants, including La Vie En Rose, for many years.
Visitation Friday, April 5th, 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM followed by a 12:00 Noon Mass at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church, Cresskill, followed by entombment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
