Jean Sforza, 98, of Maspeth, NY, passed away peacefully at home on December 13, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel Sforza (1980). She was the loving mother of her three sons, Daniel (Barbara) Sforza, Gerald Sforza, and Joseph Sforza. Devoted sister of Maryann Wrightington. Loving grandmother of Danny Sforza and the late Michelle Ranzie. Loving great-grandmother of Amanda and Nicholas Ranzie. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was the loving sister of her late siblings Minnette Miller, Peter Troiano, Charles Troiano, Joseph Fazzio, Fredrick Carmine, and Willie Troiano.

Jean was born to Charles and Ella (née Mittendorf) Troiano on September 13th, 1925. She worked as a real estate broker for her own business, Plateau Agency in Maspeth, NY for more than 40 years. She will forever be remembered for her hard work and unconditional love and generosity for her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20th (time, to be determined) at Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave, Dumont, NJ.
A service will be held on December 20th at 11:00am at the funeral home, followed by an interment at St. John’s Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, NY 11379.
