Christina Crowe (née Hanley), 93, of Cresskill, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Raymond Crowe (2007). Devoted mother of Richard (Mary Beth) Crowe and Denise (Joseph) Mullen. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Mullen, Monica Mullen-Briedis, Maggie and Katie Grace Crowe, and great-grandmother of Cecilia Briedis. Dear friend to John, Pat, Fiona Graham and Maura McKenna. Christina was blessed with a special circle of friends who filled her days with fun and laughter. Christina was cared for by the wonderful staff at Sunrise of Cresskill. Predeceased by her son Brian Crowe (2009).
Christina was born in Doneraile, County Cork, Ireland to Elizabeth (née Ryan) and Richard Hanley. Christina is survived by her brother Patrick Hanley (Anne). She is predeceased by her sisters Nora Casey (nee Hanley), Eileen Flynn (nee Hanley) and her brother, Patrick Hanley. She was proud to be employed as an operator with AT&T, New York City, for many years.
A celebration of Christina’s life will be held on 27th, November, 2023, 3:00 – 7:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Therese of Lisieux R.C. Church, Cresskill, 10 AM on 28th , November 2023. Christina will be laid to rest with her husband at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly.
