John J. Cronin, 84, of Dumont, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023. Beloved husband of Patricia (née McGarry). Devoted father of John J. (Eileen) Cronin, Jr., and Kim Cronin. Cherished grandfather of Mary, John and Kevin Cronin and Madison and Alexis Heery. Dear brother of Rose Ann Parks. Predeceased by his sisters, Julia Baker, Margaret Collins and Anna Bligh.
John was born to Florence (née Bobb) and John Cronin in New York City. He was an agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York City, Newark and Hackensack for many years.
Visiting Friday, July 21st, 5-9 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Funeral Mass Saturday, July 22nd, 11 AM, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
