Mildred Del Collo (née Sasso), 89, of Bergenfield, NJ (formerly of Hoboken, NJ), died peacefully on January 8, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore (Duke) Del Collo, Jr. (1999) and her sons, Salvatore III, Donny and Joseph. Devoted mother of Josephine Ardizzone and her husband Joseph. Cherished grandmother of Daniel, Brittany and Kelsey Ardizzone. Also survived by her sister Theresa Patterson, and many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Joseph Sasso, two sisters Mary Cicala and Rosemary Ackerman.
Mildred was born in New York City to Angelina (née Pepe) and Dominic Sasso. She was a secretary for many years in the garment industry of Hoboken, NJ.
Visiting Wednesday, January 11th, 4-8 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Funeral Mass Thursday, January 12th, 9:30 AM, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Mildred will be laid to rest with her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
