Lena A. O’Malley (née Fitzgerald), 84, of Dumont, NJ, died peacefully on August 25, 2022.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Martin O’Malley (2001).  Dear sister of James Fitzgerald, John (Maria) Fitzgerald, Vera McCormack.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her sisters, Kathleen, Peggy and Imelda.

Lena was born in County Roscommon, Ireland and immigrated to the U.S. in 1956. She was a clerical manager and supervisor for Blue Cross Blue Shield, New York City, retiring in 1978.

Visitation Tuesday, August 30th,  9:00-10:30 AM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.  Funeral Mass to follow, 11 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont.  Lena will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Nanuet, NY.
