Armando J. “Eddie” Carmosino, of Dumont, NJ, died on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Catherine (née Mazzurco). Loving dad of Steven (Darlene) Carmosino, Scott (Rhonda) Carmosino, Stephanie (Ken) McClinton. Cherished Papa of Kenny (Shirley), Jaclyn (Lou), Chris, Brandon, Joseph, Justin, Michael, Jordan, and great-grandfather of Stella. Dear brother of Mary Carmosino and Helen Stadulis. Predeceased by brothers, Frank, Al, Tom, Anthony, and his special friend, Mary.
Armando was born in the Bronx, NY to Raffaela (née Lalla) and Raffaele Carmosino. He was an Army veteran, and a sheet metal worker with the New York City Dept. of Parks & Recreation for many years. Armando was a member of the Dumont Senior Citizens, a long-time parishioner of St. Mary’s R.C. Church. He was known for his meticulous handywork and ability to build or fix just about anything.
Funeral Mass Thursday, May 27th, 9:30 AM, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Wednesday, May 26th, 4-7 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
