Jerry DiGirolamo, 88, of Dumont, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen (née Lenhart) 2008. Devoted father of Det. Sgt. John (Jonelle) DiGirolamo, Michael (Ann) DiGirolamo, Anthony DiGirolamo, Dominic (June) DiGirolamo, Dina (Ken) LeGrand. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Nicholas, Kenny, Michelle, Keri, Michael, Lisa, Steven, Matthew, Casey, Luca, and great-grandfather of Kalani, Nico, Kenneth III.
Jerry was born in the Bronx, NY to Madeline (née LaRussa) and Michael DiGirolamo. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served his country during the Korean Conflict and was employed with Kennedy Construction of New York City for 40 years.
Funeral Mass Friday, September 11th, 9:30 AM, St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Thursday, September 10th, 3-7 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.
