“Betty” is also survived by her step-children, David Kay, Gerard Kay and Ina Aiazzone and many grandchildren.

Betty will be missed by her adopted family Robert and Donna Faulborn, Charles, Cassie, Molly June and Lucy Mae Bennett.

Betty was born in Glasgow, Scotland.  She was the Manageress of a well known news agents in Glasgow, Porteous in Royal Exchange Square prior to immigrating to the United States.  Betty and David were married in 1968 at St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Glasgow.  She was very proud to become an American citizen in 1976 – if it didn’t say made in America, she didn’t buy it?

Betty retired as a cashier from Shop Rite and was a proud member of UVFC Local 1262.  She was a member of the Dumont Senior Club.  Betty was a regular attendee of the Dumont Senior Center – she loved playing Canasta.  She rarely missed an opportunity to go to Atlantic City – she loved the slot machines (rarely lost!). Betty enjoyed a glass of wine or two, singing and dancing.  Bingo will not be the same without Betty.
