Ronald C. Ostrander, Jr., 57, of Bergenfield, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026.
Ronald was a devoted father to his most cherished daughter, Shealyn, and his loving son, Christian, who were the pride and joy of his life. He is also survived by his loving parents, Noreen Scarola and Ronald Ostrander, and his step-parents, Bette Ostrander and Mark Scarola.
He was a deeply loving brother to Kristine DeRobertis and Michael Ostrander, and a devoted step-brother to Aaron Hall. Ronald was a selfless and caring uncle to Taylor DeRobertis and Bobby DeRobertis, and a beloved brother-in-law to Bob DeRobertis.
Ronald will be profoundly missed by his family and friends. To know him was truly to love him. He will always be remembered for his pure heart, kind soul, and good intentions. Ronald had a rare gift for bringing joy wherever he went, making rooms louder, brighter, and happier simply by being himself. He never hesitated to do something wild or out of the ordinary just to make someone smile. He was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet to anyone in need. Ronald loved freely and unconditionally.
Born on August 3, 1968, in Jersey City, Ronald was the son of Noreen (née Scarola) and Ronald Ostrander. He dedicated many years of service as a Dairy Manager at Kings Food Markets in Cresskill, where he was known for his strong work ethic and generous spirit.
Cremation will be private.
