Peter M. Salandra, 91, of Dumont (formerly of Hoboken) entered into eternal life on November 26, 2025. Beloved husband of 66 years to Rachael (née Melillo). Loving father of Anthony (Kim) Salandra, Bernadette (Steve) Doyle. Cherished grandfather of Matthew (Cindy) Doyle, Breana Salandra, Mark (Madison) Doyle, Alyssa and Madison Salandra, and great-grandfather of Liam Doyle.
Peter was born in Jersey City to Marie (née Chiara) and Anthony Salandra, was an Army veteran, and vice president of Audits & Surveys, a marketing research firm in New York City, for many years.
A celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Thursday, December 11th, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, December 12th, 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 102 Park Street, Haworth. Cremation is private.
