Maureen A. Murphy, 50, of New Milford, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on October 31, 2025.  Beloved wife to Mervin Malig, loving mother to Kaelyn Malig, and dear sister of Alan Murphy.

Maureen was born in the Bronx, NY, loving daughter to Rosaleen (née Conlon) and Timothy Murphy.  She was employed as an Oncology nurse at John Theurer Cancer Center Hackensack Meridian Heath for many years.

A celebration of Maureen’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, November 6, 2025, 10:00 AM at St. Joseph R.C.
