Shirley Ann Newman, 85, of Upper Saddle River, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025. She is survived by her beloved husband, Alan Newman, and predeceased by their most cherished daughter, Pamela Ann Newman. She will be dearly missed.

Shirley was born on March 11, 1930 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Margaret (née Sandor) and Eugene Hada. She was employed as a Secretary at Newark Leather Finishing Company in Kearny for many years.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628.

Shirley will be laid to rest at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
