Carmelo Savoia, 91, of Bergenfield, NJ, entered into eternal life on August 31, 2025.  Beloved husband of Rosaria Savoia.  Loving father of Rosaria (Lorenzo) Cafasso, Antonina (Carmelo) Gramuglia, Giovanni (Joyce) Savoia, Vincenzo (Michelle) Savoia.  Cherished grandfather of Michael, Jessica, Cynthia, Andrew, Alyssa, Lorenzo, Michela, Mia, Kayla, Joseph, and Vinnie, and great-grandfather of Lucas. Predeceased by a brother and four sisters.

Carmelo was born in Bagnara Calabra, Italy to Rosaria and Giovanni Savoia.  He was a member of the Italian Army from 1956 to 1958.  He emigrated to the United States in December 1963, settling in Fort Lee prior to relocating to Bergenfield.  Carmelo was machinist with Anchor Precision of Hackensack for many years.
