Michael J. Kealey, 96, of Emerson, NJ, entered into eternal life on June 29, 2025. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Roseanna “Ronnie” (2001) and his sons, Michael and Thomas. Survived by his devoted children, Keith (Lana) Kealey and Karen (James) Barry. Cherished grandfather of Simon, Mariah, Maksim Kealey, Michael, Kevin and John Barry. Predeceased by his sisters, Christina O’Sullivan, Sally Henry and Peggy Kealey.
Michael was born in New York City to Christina (née Lynch) and Michael J. Kealey. He was a proud World War II Navy veteran, and a salesman and vice president of Kane Carpet of New Jersey for many years. He finished his career at Gordon Carpet, Tappan, NY. Michael was an avid Mets and Giants fan, and loved old time Black & White and Western movies, especially “The Duke”. One of Michael’s favorite past times was going to the Meadowlands Race Track. His joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren and family.
A celebration of Michael’s life will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM and concluding with a prayer service at 11:00 AM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ. Michael will be entombed with his wife, Ronnie, at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
