Chien Fu Lai, 73, of Dumont, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025.  Loving husband of 49 years to Fujung Lai.  Devoted father of Kim Lai (Ryan Hsia) and Jeanne Lai (Youn Lee).  Cherished grandfather of Natalie Hsia and Morgan Sua Lee.

Chien Fu was born in Taipei City, Taiwan.  He emigrated to the United States in 1972.  He was an installation and service technician for Femco Machine Tools of Lyndhurst for many years.

Visitation Saturday, June 21, 2025 beginning at 12:00 PM and concluding at 4:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Cremation is private.
