Adriana Mihailescu (née Buteica), 80, of New Milford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 9, 2025. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Marin Mihailescu. Devoted mother of Corneliu and Alexandru (Mariana) Mihailescu. Cherished grandmother of Elizabeth and James.
Adriana was born in Silistea, Romania to Teodora and Alexandru Buteica. She emigrated to the United States in 1998, and was employed at the Fillo Factory of Dumont for many years.
A celebration of Adriana’s life will take place on Friday, June 13th, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Service at 7:00 PM, at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ. Cremation is private.
