Nicholas A. Marino, 85, of Dumont, NJ passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on February 23, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 48 years, Patricia (née Breen). Loving father of Lynda McGowan (Jeff Pollack), Matthew (Colleen) McGowan, Michael (Andrea) Marino, Jasmine (Jose) Garcia. Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Caitlin, Danielle, Ryan, Ava, Cayli, Melanie and Michael. Dear brother of Dicky Marino and Gloria D’Ercole.
Nicholas was born in Englewood, NJ to Jennie (née Maroni) and Dominic Marino. Nicholas was an Army veteran, an Interior Decorator, and the owner of Marino’s Slip Covers, Dumont, for many years. He also enjoyed playing cards at the Elks Lodge.
Visitation Thursday, February 27th, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Funeral Mass Friday, February 28th, 9:30 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 280 Washington Avenue, Dumont. All those planning to attend the mass are asked to meet directly at church. Cremation is private.
