Richard F. Havens, 79, of Dumont, NJ, passed away on February 9, 2025.  Beloved husband of Ruth (née Andersen).  Loving father to sons Christian, Steven and Steven’s fianceé Monica.  Cherished grandfather of Taylor Rose.

Richard was born in Brooklyn, NY to Rosemarie (née Wolfmayer) and Charles Havens.  He was an Army veteran, and worked for Jaguar Cars of Mahwah for many years, retiring in 2009.

Memorial visitation Saturday, March 8, 2025, 12 PM to 4 PM, with a Celebration of Life at 3 PM, at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  Cremation was private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Richard’s memory to a charity of your choice.
