Leslie J. Astarita of Valatie, New York and Dumont, New Jersey passed away peacefully on February 7th, 2025. She is survived by her loving children: Robert, Patrick, Anne, Frank, Mary, Christopher, and Tracy. She is also survived by her loving sons and daughters in-law, thirteen grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Arthur (2000), her mother Dolores Pacanda, and her grandson Justin Mantz. Leslie was born in Hudson, New York on April 25, 1946. She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in both New York and New Jersey. Leslie was a beloved and active member of her community through St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of Valatie Elves Group, Widows of Veterans Food Pantry of Columbia County, The Santa Claus Club of Valatie and St. Luke’s Community Dinners.

Leslie was a dear friend to so many and was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be so missed.

Cremation will be private.
