Niall Christopher O’Hagan, 56, of Dumont, passed away on January 6, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Bridie, the loving father of Dylan and Kayleigh, and the devoted son of Kathleen and the predeceased John. He is also survived by his five cherished brothers, Conor, Don, Gary, Gregory, Fergal, and his two dear sisters, Nuala Kearney and Tonya Fitzsimons. Niall is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his beloved family and friends.

Niall was born on December 8, 1968 in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland to Kathleen (née Gilmore) and John O’Hagan. He was employed as a General Contractor for his own company, O’Fix It Home Improvements in Dumont. Niall was very proud of his Irish culture and devoted his time to his Irish community in the states. He was a coach at St. Joseph’s Gaelic Football team and was a former Vice President of Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) in Rockland County. He was also the former owner of Mrs. O’s Restaurant in Bergenfield.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 4-8 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628.  Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 10, 11 AM, at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 280 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628.
