Kenneth (Ken) Walter Kleber of Toms River, NJ (formerly Dumont, NJ; Fair Lawn, NJ; Lancaster, SC; and Monroe, NC) passed away on November 15, 2024.
He was born on January 4, 1946 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of Walter and Irene (née Zilch) Kleber. He graduated from Dumont High School in 1964. He was a dedicated, long-time employee of Cardinal Bag & Envelope in Saddle Brook, NJ (and later Monroe, NC) before retiring in March 2012.
Ken enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, playing random games on his phone, and playing with his dogs. He did not enjoy going to dialysis or listening to people complain.
Ken is survived by his wife since 2001, Barbara (née Robinson) Kleber, and his two sons, Justin Kleber and his spouse Dennis Stachura of Great Meadows, NJ; and Ken Kleber and his wife Angela of Champaign, IL. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Lauren and Emily. Ken was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Robert.
In accordance with his wishes, no services or visitation will be held. Those who would like to honor his memory are encouraged to support the American Diabetes Association, the American Kidney Fund, or another charity of their choice. The family would like to thank Ken’s doctors, nurses, and others who supported his health needs over the past several years and allowed him to have more time with those he cared about.
