Obituary

Lydia W. Duah, 68, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully in her Dumont home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of Frank Antwi for 42 years. Loving mother of Elizabeth (Prince) Otchere Darko, Frank Jr., Kevin, Hillary and Joshua Antwi. Thoughtful niece of Kwasi Nsafoah. Devoted sister of Paul (Lucy), Lawrence (Janet), Eugenia, and Eric (Marylene) Duah M.D. Adored grandmother of Evangeline, Ethan, and Eliana Otchere Darko. Cherished aunt to Janelle, Lawrencia, Eileen (Akwasi), Edwin, Elisa, Eric, Dominic, Gabriella, and Patrick Duah. She will be truly missed by her friends and family. 

Lydia was born on March 25, 1956 in Ghana to Alice and Paul Duah. She was a homemaker, dedicating her life to the health and wellbeing of her beautiful family.  

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM, at the Frech McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628. Funeral Service will be held at 12PM, following the visitation. Lydia will be laid to rest at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
