LISA – Patrick C. (Pat) died peacefully on September 19th, 2024. Survived by his devoted son, Michael Lisa, and cherished granddaughter, Julianna Lisa, as well as his siblings Marie Lewandowski and Anthony Lisa, and significant other, Carol Joyce. Predeceased by his loving parents, Angelo and Lena Lisa, treasured brother, Alex Lisa, and cherished daughter-in-law Kathleen A. Callahan-Lisa. He remains a dear uncle to two nieces, as well as many cousins.
Pat was born in 1936 and raised in Hoboken, New Jersey, where he graduated from A.J. Demarest High School in 1954. After which he would go on to serve in the United States Army, completing his basic training with Company 2 at Fort Dix, New Jersey, in 1958. Patrick served his years of active duty in Germany. After his honorable discharge in 1964, he continued his education at New York University.
Patrick later began a fulfilling career as an audio and visual technician at CitiBank. During his time at CitiBank he planted roots in North Bergen, New Jersey (1970), where he was blessed with a son, Michael Lisa. During his adulthood he enjoyed visiting the Pocono Mountains with his loving family. In 2002, he retired from Marine Transport Company in Weehawken, New Jersey. In his retirement, he began to volunteer at Palisades General Hospital in North Bergen, playing the electric keyboard for patients. He also became an active member of the Knights of Columbus, council #15958 Our Lady of Fatima, in North Bergen, NJ. Patrick lived a long and love-filled life surrounded by family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont, New Jersey. The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at Noon at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont, New Jersey. Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery and Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ.
