It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Elisa Fazio, a beloved wife, mother,
daughter, sister, and aunt, who left us on August 28, 2024, at the age of 58. Born on October 10,
1965, in Grumo Appula, Bari, Italy, Elisa’s journey brought her to Haworth, NJ, where she
created a home filled with love and warmth.

nurturing and caring for those around her. Her selflessness knew no bounds; she consistently
put the needs of her family before her own, creating a sanctuary where everyone felt valued and

prepared meals to the comforting words she offered to those in need.
As a wife, Elisa supported and cherished her husband with unwavering devotion. Together they
managed to own and operate multiple food establishments in Penn station, New York City. As a
mother, she was a guiding light, offering wisdom, encouragement, and boundless love to her
children. Her role as a daughter and sister was marked by a deep sense of responsibility and
affection, and as an aunt, she delighted in the joy and accomplishments of her nieces and
nephews.

created a home there, was a devout follower of San Antonio and La Madonna di Mellitto and
consistently instilled Italian values in her everyday life.
