Benedetta Vassallo, 93, of Bergenfield, passed away peacefully on February 3rd, 2024. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph Vassallo. Survived by her loving children, Jochim (Sonia) Vassallo, Anthony Vassallo, and Josephine Milne, and her caring sister Rosalie (Salvatore) Graziano. She is also survived by her dearest grandchildren, Magen (David) Aveta, Alexandra Vassallo, and Gabrielle Vassallo, as well as her cherished great granddaughter, Charlotte Belle Aveta.
Benedetta was born on September 24, 1930 in Sicily, Italy to Marianna and Giacome Pandolfo. After her years of schooling, she became a homemaker. She emigrated from her home country to the United States in the 60s, where she permanently resided in Bergenfield. She will forever be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and friends.
Graveside service for Benedetta will be held on Wednesday, February 7th, 1 PM, at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
