Michael B. Bittmann, 77, of Dumont, NJ, passed away peacefully on January 20th, 2024. He is survived by his beloved siblings, Henry (Jane) M. Bittmann and Virginia (Steve) DiMauro. He is also survived by his cherished nephew, Henry M. Bittmann, Jr., and grandnephews, Drew and Blake Bittmann.
Michael was born on December 12, 1946 in Weehawken, NJ to Eva (née Verba) and Henry Bittmann. He was a lifelong resident of Dumont, NJ, attending St. Mary’s grammar school and Dumont High School. After his years in schooling, he earned the position as the Supervisor for the Computer Division at Chemical Bank in New York City. Michael’s retirement from Chemical Bank enabled the opportunity for him to own Hollywood Video in Elmwood Park and to devote his life as a parishioner at St. Mary’s. He also had a great passion for baseball and bowling. Michael will be greatly missed and remembered by his loved ones for his unconditional love and dedication.
