Reinhold Schneider, 87, of Dumont, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023.  Predeceased by his wife, Anna (née Monahan) (2015).  Loving father of Donna Felter and the late Gary, Janet Schneider and Ronald Schneider.  Cherished grandfather of Kyle and Ryan Felter.

Reinhold was born in Paramus, NJ to Muriel (née Covert) and Reinhold Schneider, Sr.  He was employed with the Tenafly Board of Education for many years. Upon retiring from the Tenafly Board of Education, Reinhold became a crossing guard in Dumont.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, watching boxing, golf, NASCAR and football, and relaxing in his yard with a cold beer in hand.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 30th, 4-8 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00 PM.  Cremation is private.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Reinhold’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
