Barbara Ann Nasca (née Kociuba), 74, of New Milford, NJ (a former Dumont resident of 65 years), entered into eternal rest on October 30, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles Nasca (2008). Devoted mother of Charles A. (Elizabeth) Nasca, Nichole (Marcelo) Medeiros, Kristy (Larry) Piccinich, Richie (Dana) Nasca. Cherished grandmother of Andrew and BriannaMedeiros, Stefanie, Holly and Kevin Piccinich, and Alexis Nasca. Dear sister of John (Barbara) Kociuba. Also survived by a loving nephew, Joe Kociuba, and a niece, Janet (Chris) Allen.
Barbara was born to Stefanie (née Chemin) and John Joseph Kociuba in the Bronx, NY, and was a receptionist with NIA Insurance of Paramus. Barbara enjoyed long walks, butterfly watching, and making fleece blankets, and especially loved singing in the St. Therese Church Choir for many enjoyable years.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held on Sunday, November 5th, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, November 6th, 10 :00 AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, Cresskill. Interment Hackensack Cemetery.
