Ruth L. Smith (née Reichwald), of Park Ridge, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023.  Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Smith (2016).  Devoted mother of Jeffrey (Karen), Robert (Donna) and Craig Smith.  Cherished grandmother of Phillip, Tanya, Jason, Jennifer and Peter, and great-grandmother of Emily and Ryan Smith.  Predeceased by her brother, Otto Reichwald.

Ruth was born in Union City, NJ to Loretta and Otto Reichwald, and devoted her life caring for her family.

All services were private and under the direction of the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, Dumont, NJ.
