Susan W. Gluckman, 78, of Dumont passed away on March 15, 2023. Susan is survived by her loving husband Irving, her son David and his wife Derise, her Daughter-In-Law Jenifer, and her Grandsons Andrew, Matthew and Alex. Also survived by her sister Margaret Colby and Brother-In-Law Charles Colby. Susan was predeceased by her son Michael.

Susan was born in Passaic, NJ to Margaret (nee McCarthy) and Russell Williams. She was a teacher for over 25 years, spending the majority of her career in the Dumont Public School system. Susan was heavily involved in her community, spending many years as a volunteer Religious Education Teacher at St. Therese Church in Cresskill. Susan enjoyed her years of retirement spending time with her family, especially when she hosted Thanksgiving dinner. She also loved getting together with the many friends she made over her years living and working in Dumont. Susan’s kind, genuine, and loving personality made an immeasurable impact on everyone who knew her.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held on Sunday, March 19th from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. A service will be held the following day, Monday, March 20th, at Frech-McKnight at 11:45 a.m. Interment following at George Washington Memorial Park.
