George F. Di Costanzo, 84, of Dumont, died peacefully on February 15, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Antoinette “Nina” (née Pugliese). Devoted father of Diane Olivo, Lori Parisi and her husband Frank, and John Di Costanzo and his wife Lisa. Cherished grandfather of Paul Olivo, Candice, Samantha and Jake Parisi, and Andrew, Nicholas and Julianne Di Costanzo, and great-grandfather of Theo Nicolosi. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers and his son-in-law, Jerry Olivo (2002).
George was born in the Bronx, NY to Guiseppina (née Amalfitano) and Giovanni Di Costanzo. He was the Director of Client Services with the Clark O’Neill Company of Fairview, retiring in 2000, and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, St. John Council #1345.
A celebration of George’s life will be held on Monday, February 20th, 4-8 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont. Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 21st, 11 AM St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Entombment Garden of Memories, Township of Washington.
