It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Milton H. Rautenberg of Dumont, New Jersey. Milton passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.

Milton will be forever remembered by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Rautenberg, his five children: Eleanor

A. English-Schluter (deceased), Victoria A. Caswell, Richard J. English, Sherrill A. Woessner, Barbara A.

Shock, his grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Milton was born on September 7, 1935, in Jersey City, New Jersey to Ida and Paul Rautenberg. After graduating from Leonia High School, Milton joined the National Guard. In addition to being a beloved Veteran, Milton was a part of the Dumont Police Reserves. Milton was the proud owner of Palisades Park Auto Repair until he retired. Milton especially will be remembered for hunting, fishing, and loving every day.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, The Humane Society, or a charity of your choosing.

There will be a celebration of life at a future date.
