George Mackenzie, 74, of Mahwah, NJ (formerly of Bergenfield), died peacefully on December 6, 2022.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Laura (née Rivera), his loving children, Jessica (Rafael) Betancourt, Marco (Sandra) Mackenzie, Daniel (Jennifer) Mackenzie, Joel (Blair) Mackenzie, and Nicole Mackenzie, his 13 cherished grandchildren.  Dear brother of Jairo, Marlene, and Rodolfo.  Also survived by his mother, Senovia (née Noya).  Predeceased by his father, Joseph-Felix Mackenzie.

George was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, was an Air Force veteran, and a banquet server at the Pierre Hotel of New York City.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
