Maureen A. Hallenbeck (née O’Connor), 75, a longtime resident of Dumont, died peacefully on October 5, 2022.  Predeceased by her husband, Lloyd Hallenbeck and her son, Peter Hallenbeck.  Loving mother of Lisa Finck (George), Cheryl Lynch (Ed), David Hallenbeck (Colleen), Bobby Hallenbeck (Sharon), and Stacey Polanco. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren, and great-grandmother of 4 great-grandchildren.

Maureen was born in New York City to Ruth May (née Gunther) and Charles O’Connor.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

All services were private.  Arrangements:  Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, Dumont.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maureen’s memory to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
