Sandra D. Molé (née D’Alfonso), 71, of Haworth, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph, and her two sons, Brett and Todd, as well as Todd’s fiance, Eugenie.
Sandra was born in New York City to Diana (née Bertoli) and Frank D’Alfonso. She grew up on Thompson Street in an apartment that housed her entire family. She spent nights absorbing the spirit and music of the Village through her bedroom window. She played piano and had a lifelong love of the arts. She traveled extensively with her husband, whom she met ten years to the day before the birth of their first son. She was a longtime contributor to the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation for many years, and a loving wife and mother. Sandra was loved by many friends and family members, and she brought joy and happiness wherever she went. She will be missed deeply.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will take place on Friday, August 5th, 4-8 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. A Funeral Service will be held at Saturday, August 6th, 10:45 AM at Garden of Memories, Washington Township.
