Adelaide D. Matarazzo (née Fidanza), 83, of Hillsdale, NJ passed away July 22, 2022.  Predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Matarazzo, Sr. and her son, Joseph A. Matarrazo, Jr.  Survived by her son, Anthony Matarrazo and his wife Dorothy, and Marianne Matarazzo.  Cherished grandmother of Anthony Matarazzo, Jr., and Robert and John Kalb.  Also survived by her four-legged grandson, Ace.

Adelaide was born in New York City to Adeline (née Di Tommaso) and John Fidanza.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Adelaide was an honorary life-time member of the Dumont Women’s Club, a member of the Cresskill and River Edge Women’s Clubs, a member of Unico National, and involved with AARP and many senior organizations, too many to list.

Cremation is private.  Memorial visitation Saturday, July 30, 2022, 3-7 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adelaide’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; www.stjude.org.
