Barbara A. “Bunny” Affrunti (née Liggio), 78, of Dumont, NJ, died May 26, 2021.  Beloved wife of 59 years to Ret. Dumont Police Chief, Michael P. Affrunti.  Loving mother of William (Courtney) and Stephen (Michelle).  Cherished grandmother of Eric, Alexa, Michael, Kyle, Matthew.  Dear sister of Linda Boschetti.

Barbara was born in the Bronx, NY to Olga (née Mulek) and Andrew Liggio.  She was a member of the Dumont Woman’s Club, the first female President of the Dumont High School Athletic Booster Club, a member of the Bicentennial Committee of Dumont, and the Woman’s Book Club of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Haworth.

Funeral Service Saturday, May 29th, 10 AM, at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  Private interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.  Visiting Friday, May 28th, 4-8 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps, 108 Brook St., Dumont.
