Phyllis Ann Smith (nee Lydecker), 75, of New Milford passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 12, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late David J. Smith.  Devoted mother of Catherine, Joyce Smith- Elkammary and her husband Wael Elkammary, and the late David J. Smith Jr. Cherished grandmother of Joseph Elkammary.  Phyllis was born in Paterson, NJ to Helen (nee Chadwick) and Albert P. Lydecker Jr. She is predeceased by her brothers Albert P. Lydecker III and Charles T. Chadwick.The greatest joy in Phyllis’s life was her family.  Her favorite past time was puzzle books and watching game shows.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 16, 4-8 P.M. at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave, Dumont.  Funeral Service at the funeral home Wednesday, March 17, 11 A.M. officiated by Rev. Elaine Wing of Calvary United Methodist Church.  Interment Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
