Anna M. Creagh (nee Greene), 88, of Bergenfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on January 30, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Cornelius Creagh (2004). Devoted mother of Kevin (June), Brian (Kelly), Mark (Judith), Cynthia Giannotti, and Lisa Cosner (Chris), and cherished grandmother of Amanda, Kevin, Taylor, Jake, Victoria, Timmy, Kayla, Andrew, Annalisa, and Kyle.
Anna was born in Brooklyn, NY to Mary (nee Powers) and Raymond Greene. Anna was an extremely active person. She enjoyed taking long walks, working out at the gym and swimming. Perhaps, the thing she enjoyed the most, was dancing. She enjoyed all kinds of dancing, but in her later years, her passion became line dancing. She was also an avid reader of her favorite author, Danielle Steele. Anna had a smile that would light up a room. Her sense of humor and zest for life, were contagious. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Golden Age Club and the Widowers Club of Bergenfield.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, February 4 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Victories Church, Harrington Park. Entombment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd beginning at 4 P.M. and concluding at 8 P.M. at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., Dumont.
