Elizabeth M. Schafer (née Rocker), 87, of Dumont, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 2, 2020.  Predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold Schafer (2015).  Loving mother of Carrie Lyons and husband Kevin, Carolyn Lyons and husband James, and Caryn Bruno.  Cherished grandmother of Kevin James, Jayne Lussier and husband Germain, Lindsay, Michael, Nicole, and Kelly.

Elizabeth was born in Jersey City, NJ to Elizabeth Marie (née Heide) and William H. Rocker.  She was the Borough Clerk of the Borough of Dumont for many years.
