Robert J. Casey, 88, a lifelong Dumont resident, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 11, 2020. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Bernice (née Holtmeyer) in 1984 and his son, William B. Casey in 2009. Robert is survived by his devoted children, Robert J. Casey, Jr. and Susan Casey, and three cherished grandchildren, Stephanie, Emily and Sarah.
Robert was born in Ridgefield Park to Dorothy and Robert Casey. He enjoyed the time he spent in the U.S. Air Force veteran, working with all things mechanical, and taking cruises, and was a supervisor with the Bergen County Utility Authority, Little Ferry for many years.
Visiting will be held on Friday, November 13th, 5-9 PM at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, Dumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday, November 14th, 11 AM, at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Dumont. Robert will be laid to rest immediately following at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
