Anita V. Flaim (née Rigatti), 88, of Dumont, died unexpectedly on June 3, 2019.  Beloved wife of John C. Flaim, whom she’d met shortly after WWII while visiting family in the Tyrol.  Loving mother of John Flaim and his wife Jill and Gregory Flaim.  Cherished grandmother of Gregory Evan Flaim.  Dear sister of Mary Rigatti.  Predeceased by her sister, Irene Rigatti.

Anita was born in New York City to the late Mary and Pio Rigatti, raised in Washington Heights, and devoted her life to raising her family.  She was a devoted wife of 66 years, loving mom, a good friend and neighbor, and adored her grandchild.  Anita was loved by all and will be sadly missed.

Visiting Thursday, June 6, 2019, 9:00 AM -10:30 AM, with a service immediately following, at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.  Cremation is private.
