Rev. Dr. George C. Abraham, 85, of Saddle Brook, NJ, died peacefully on April 29, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Saramma (née Mathew).  Loving father of Shaji Abraham and his wife Sheena, Shirley James and her husband Noel, Shirey Bodinazzo and her husband Richard.  Cherished grandfather of Sarah Rachel, Skylar Noel, Caleb and Bethany.  Dear brother of Aleyamma Paul and her husband Kusumalayam, Ammakutty Baby, V.G. Abraham and his wife Shandha, and C.K. George and his wife Gracy.

George was born in Elathur, India to Kunjamma and Chempilathrayil A. George. He was an engineering supervisor with the MTA of New York City and an avid gardener.  George earned a Ph.D. in Theology from the International Bible College and Seminary.  He was very involved in St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church of Teaneck.  George loved God, his family, faith, and church.
